Product Description
The Premium Zoom Eyepiece features a focal range of 22.5mm to 7.5mm, with marked indicators for settings of 7.5mm, 12mm, 17mm and 22.5mm. The wide range of focal lengths allows you to enjoy the finer details of an object, as well as its more apparent features, while leaving the eyepiece securely seated in the focuser. The large ocular lens provides comfortable viewing with a 66 degree apparent field of view at 22.5mm, and a 42 degree field of view at 7.5mm. The eyepiece, which consists of eight lens elements in five groups, is fully multi-coated with anti-reflection coatings for clear, crisp views. Dual-purpose threading of the 1.25" barrel enables the eyepiece to be used with Orion filters, while also preventing glare. The Premium Zoom, made of black anodized aluminum construction, was designed with viewing comfort in mind. It features generous eye relief of 19.5mm at 22.5mm and 18mm at 7.5mm.
